Workshops

I am available to teach and demonstrate the craft of knitting and crochet along with other art and craft skills.  Please do get in touch and let me know what your particular requirements are? I'd love to meet you and co-ordinate a workshop for you at your Yarn store, School, or Craft establishment.  I hold a First-Class BA Hons Degree in Management, Cert Ed In Teaching, Assessor Awards, C&G 7307 Level 2 in Teaching, C&G Level 3 in Knitted Textiles.

Along with knit and Crochet skills I am an artist and crafts person workshop provider and I am experienced in running workshops and working with art project providers and schools in Lancashire where the organisers have sent for an enhanced CRB check for me.  Some of my art and craft skills include acrylic and watercolour paintings and illustrations, jewellery making, weaving, loom flowers, knitting and crochet, embroidery, beadwork, card making and macrame. Recent workshops that I have provided include creating carnival masks, hoops, torches, flags, umbrellas on various themes and tall disc shimmering cones for a festival stage working with adults with learning disabilities and primary school aged children.  I have produced arts workshops for Manchester Mega Mela, The Rochdale Mela with The Multicultural Arts and Media Centre formerly MAAC and Darnhill Festival with Cartwheel Arts.
